Yellow 36”Drop Leave Table

 

This was my first experience with using homemade chalk paint before. I utilized the Plaster of Paris method with a ending solution of about four parts paint to one part plaster/water mix. The table turned out beautiful and was actually a roadside find that someone had put the washers and lock washers on the wrong side of the corner blocks for the legs so the nuts were embedded into the wood and could not tighten the legs down anymore!

it stands 36 inches tall, however it can be cut down to a standard table length, a coffee table, a sofa table with one leaf down, or an accent table with one leaf down.

Building a Custom Storage Booth/Bench That is Dressed to Impress!

 

I am very happy with this piece! This was a custom order for a trade show to develop a sitting area that would allow for storage & provide for a comfy place to sit in the booth!

This was modified off of a DIY bench that I changed the back and sides to make it an extremely heavy-duty, commercial grade piece. It was upholstered by my friends at Russell's Upholstery and has an almost leather like softness to it with a recycled leather removable cushion.

This piece is still for sale in the showroom for $750 and if you want a piece that will last anything anyone can throw at it and is designed and has the same material that is used on commercial booth seats – then this is your piece!
